The LFP7700 OLT Series from LFOC represents the next generation of high-end multi-service EPON OLT platforms, designed for converged service networks. More than just an OLT, it also functions as a distributed high-performance routing and switching system, ensuring carrier-grade reliability and scalability. Based on the LFP7700 switching platform, the LF77-16PON-SFP service card supports 16 PON ports per card, with the entire chassis expandable up to 128 PON ports, enabling seamless integration between large-scale OLT systems and core switches. Powered by the LFROS operating system, the LFP7700 integrates MPLS, IPv6, network security, and EPON features. It supports advanced reliability technologies such as non-stop forwarding, graceful restart, and ring protection, ensuring maximum uptime. With flexible uplink expansion through GE/10GE service boards, the LFP7700 is ideal for broadband access to both residential and enterprise users. Each PON port supports a 1:64 split ratio, with the system capable of connecting up to 8192 ONUs over distances of up to 20 km. The LFP7700 series includes three chassis options: P7710 (10 slots), P7706 (6 slots), and P7703 (3 slots). P7710 and P7706 support 1+1 redundancy for both control and power modules, while P7703 supports 1+1 power redundancy. The platform is widely applicable in metro aggregation and edge networks, campus network cores, and distribution nodes.

Its Hitless Protection System (HPS) guarantees uninterrupted service, meeting the most demanding uptime requirements. Additionally, features such as VRRP, STP, and LACP provide further assurance of reliability.


●Advanced System Architecture Adopting a distributed, modular design, the platform leverages multi-processor distributed processing and a crossbar switching architecture. This ensures outstanding forwarding performance, strong service capabilities, and high scalability.


●Comprehensive Value-Added Services The system supports line-rate L2/L3/L4 switching, featuring advanced features such as QoS, MPLS, NAT, bandwidth control, and multicast. Hardware-based traffic classification, rate limiting, and QoS mechanisms provide robust support for value-added services across complex networks.


●High Capacity & Performance The LFP7700 OLT delivers up to 952 Mpps forwarding capability, supporting 512K Layer 3 routes, 512K MAC addresses, 4096 VLANs, and 8K security/access policies, ensuring reliable line-speed forwarding in high-density environments.


●High Port Density & Flexible Interfaces Equipped with diverse interfaces, including 10GE, GE, FE, and EPON, the system enables true high-density deployment with full line-rate routing and switching.


●Robust Security Features Security is reinforced through ACL-based filtering, IPSec, MPLS VPN, and advanced traffic control features. The system supports uRPF, anti-DDoS, SSH 2.0, and 802.1x authentication, VLAN ID and MAC/IP/port binding, and Multi-level QoS with priority queues. Additionally, integrated antivirus and intrusion prevention mechanisms ensure comprehensive protection for operators.


●IPv6 Support The platform fully supports IPv6, including dual-stack (IPv4/IPv6) operation, tunneling technologies (manual, automatic, 6to4), and dynamic routing protocols such as BGP4/BGP4+, RIPng, and OSPFv3.


●MPLS VPN Support Supports both Layer 2 (Martini VPWS, VPLS) and Layer 3 (RFC2547bis) MPLS VPN, ensuring compatibility and interoperability with other mainstream vendors’ equipment.


●Unified Network Management The LFP7700 OLT supports SNMP (RFC 1213), CLI via Telnet, and graphical SNMP-based management. Fully compatible with the Broad Director EMS platform, it enables centralized, unified management of the entire network.
