Description

The GJYXCH, GJYXFCH, GJYXCV, and GJYXFCV self-supporting flat drop cables (also known as FTTH drop cables) are constructed with optical fibers and two parallel strength members integrated within a flame-retardant sheath. A messenger wire is placed in parallel with the cable core, and the assembly is extruded with a figure-8 sheath to provide self-supporting capability. The strength members can be steel wires, KFRP, or GFRP. The sheath material can be flame-retardant PVC or LSZH, and sheath colors are available in white, black, or other colors per customer requirements. The easily peelable sheath structure and small bending radius allow for simple and efficient installation. With the metallic messenger wire, the cable can be directly deployed in self-supporting aerial installations. Available fiber counts: 1–4 cores.
