Product Description
MPO/MTP connectors are a type of multi-fiber connector widely adopted by the IEEE standard as the interface for 40G/100G transmission. The MPO (Multi Push-On) connector enables high-density fiber connections, typically used in three major areas: High-density data center environments, Fiber-to-the-Building (FTTB) applications, and Internal connections of optical devices such as splitters, 40G/100G transceivers, and QSFP+ modules. MPO/MTP connectors adhere to the IEC 61754-7 standard. They are designed to support 12 fibers in a single row, with options for multiple rows, such as 24 fibers or more, providing flexibility for high-bandwidth and scalable networking needs.
