Product Description

The SMC fiber optic cross-connection cabinet is designed for connecting backbone optical cables with distribution optical cables in access networks. It provides fiber splicing, storage, and distribution functions in one unit. This series is made of SMC (Sheet Molding Compound), a fiberglass-reinforced polyester material, compression-molded under high temperatures and pressure. With an IP65 protection rating, the cabinet requires no additional surface treatment and has a service life of over 25 years, even under harsh outdoor environments. The cabinet is equipped with plug-in type optical splitter slots and reliable grounding protection. It supports FC, SC, LC, or ST adapters (optional), arranged at a 30° angle to ensure a fiber bend radius ≥40 mm, minimizing signal loss and preventing accidental eye exposure to laser beams during patching.
