Standard Loose Tube Steel Wire Armored Optical Cable (GYTA33)

Standard Loose Tube Steel Wire Armored Optical Cable (GYTA33)

Description

The GYTA33 optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. The central strength member is a metallic wire; for certain fiber counts, a polyethylene (PE) layer is extruded over the strength member. Loose tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the interstices filled with water-blocking compound. An aluminum-polyethylene laminated tape (APL) is longitudinally applied, followed by a PE inner sheath. The cable is then armored with steel wires and completed with a PE outer sheath. Fiber color coding can be either standard or full-spectrum.

Operating Temperature

−40℃ to +60℃

Bending Radius

Static: 12.5 × cable outer diameter; Dynamic: 25 × cable outer diameter

Applications
