Description
The GYTS optoelectronic composite cable integrates both optical fibers and electrical conductors. It is constructed with single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. The central strength member is a metallic rod; for specific fiber counts, a polyethylene (PE) layer may be extruded over the strength member. Loose tubes and insulated conductors are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the interstices filled with water-blocking compound. The core is longitudinally wrapped with a double-sided polyethylene-coated steel tape (PSP) and extruded with a polyethylene outer sheath. Available insulated conductor specifications: RV31.0, RV31.5, RV32.0, RV32.5.
Operating Temperature
−40℃ to +60℃
Bending Radius
Static: 10 × cable outer diameter; Dynamic: 20 × cable outer diameter
Applications
Suitable for duct and aerial installations where simultaneous transmission of optical signals and electrical power is required.
