Description
The GYTS53 optoelectronic composite cable integrates both optical fibers and electrical conductors, providing high mechanical strength and reliable performance in harsh environments. The cable is constructed with single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. The central strength member is a metallic rod; for specific fiber counts, an additional polyethylene (PE) layer may be extruded over the strength member. Loose tubes and insulated conductors are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the interstices filled with water-blocking compound. The core is longitudinally wrapped with a double-sided polyethylene-coated steel tape (PSP), followed by a PE inner sheath. A second PSP armor layer is then applied, and the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath, delivering excellent mechanical protection, moisture resistance, and crush resistance. Available insulated conductor specifications: RV31.0, RV31.5, RV32.0, RV32.5.
