Standard Mining Armored Patch Cord

Standard Mining Armored Patch Cord

Description

The standard mining armored patch cord is constructed with a centrally placed tight-buffered optical fiber, surrounded by aramid yarn for tensile strength. The fiber is further protected by a stainless-steel spiral armored tube, providing robust mechanical protection against crushing and rodent damage. Both ends are terminated with fiber optic connectors, which can be configured as FC, SC, LC, or ST types to meet different application requirements.

Operating Temperature

−40℃ to +60℃

Bending Radius

Static: 10 × cable outer diameter; Dynamic: 20 × cable outer diameter

Applications

Designed for mining environments such as inclined shafts and horizontal roadways, where enhanced mechanical strength, flame resistance, and reliable optical performance are essential for safe and stable communication.
