Description

The GYXTS optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. A layer of phosphatized steel wires is stranded around the loose tube as armor. The water-blocking compound between the stranded steel wires and the loose tube ensures compactness and longitudinal water resistance. Finally, a steel–polyethylene laminated tape is longitudinally applied, and a polyethylene (PE) sheath is extruded to form the cable.
