Description

The structure of the GYXTW optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic. The tube is filled with water-blocking gel. A corrugated steel tape, coated with polyethylene (PE) on both sides, is longitudinally wrapped around the loose tube. The water-blocking layer between the steel tape and the loose tube ensures compactness and longitudinal water resistance. Two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides to provide additional reinforcement, and the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath.
