Description

The GYXTC8S optical cable is designed with single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. The loose tube forms the central core, which is longitudinally wrapped with a double-sided polyethylene-coated corrugated steel tape. A water-blocking layer between the steel tape and the loose tube ensures compact structure and reliable longitudinal water resistance. The cable is extruded with a figure-8 sheath, integrating the optical cable core with a parallel steel messenger wire to provide self-supporting capability.
