Description
The GYFTZA53 optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. The central strength member is typically a non-metallic FRP rod, ensuring excellent dielectric performance. Loose tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the interstices filled with water-blocking compound. An aluminum-polyethylene laminated tape (APL) is longitudinally applied, followed by a polyethylene (PE) inner sheath. A double-sided polyethylene-coated steel tape (PSP) is then longitudinally applied, and the cable is completed with a low-smoke, halogen-free flame-retardant outer sheath. Fiber color coding can be either standard or full-spectrum.
