Standard Loose Tube Armored Flame-Retardant Optical Cable (GYFTZY53)

Standard Loose Tube Armored Flame-Retardant Optical Cable (GYFTZY53)

Description

The GYFTZY53 optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode fibers housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking gel. The central strength member is a non-metallic FRP rod; for specific fiber counts, a polyethylene (PE) cushion layer is extruded over the strength member. Between 5 and 12 loose tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, with the interstices filled with water-blocking compound. A flame-retardant PE inner sheath is extruded over the core, followed by a longitudinally applied double-sided polyethylene-coated steel tape (PSP), and finally completed with a flame-retardant PE outer sheath. Fiber color coding can be either standard or full-spectrum.

Operating Temperature

−40℃ to +60℃

Bending Radius

Static: 12.5 × cable outer diameter; Dynamic: 25 × cable outer diameter
