Description

The MGXTSV (General Type) mining optical cable is designed with single-mode or multi-mode fibers placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, filled with water-blocking compound. The loose tube is wrapped with a corrugated steel tape coated on both sides, with two parallel steel wires laid on both sides to provide additional strength. The water-blocking layer between the steel tape and the loose tube ensures compactness and longitudinal water resistance. An inner sheath is extruded outside the steel tape, followed by a flame-retardant outer sheath to complete the cable.
